For the past 16-17 years, I’ve struggled with a porn addiction. I used to masturbate regularly, almost every week. There were phases where I managed to control it, but somehow I always found myself falling back into the same cycle. I’ve carried a lot of regret and guilt because of it, but being an introvert, I never had the courage to openly talk to anyone about what I was going through.
Over the last six years, I’ve also been dealing with IBS-D. I’ve somehow been managing it day by day, but alongside it, my overall health has gradually started declining.
Recently, something happened that pushed me into even deeper anxiety. Toward the end of last year, I got engaged. During that time, when I hugged my partner, I ejaculated unexpectedly and in a significant amount.
Ever since then, I’ve been facing problems with erections. Nighttime erections have become extremely difficult, and even when they happen, they feel weak. Earlier, I used to have very strong, rock-hard erections, so this sudden change has been frightening for me.
I consulted a doctor, and he told me it was a UTI. I took the prescribed medication, but it badly affected my stomach. I suffered from severe loose motions for an entire week afterward. Then last month, when I tried to have sex, I again faced erection problems. My partner was disappointed too, which made me feel even worse. I even tried medication for erections, but apart from working for one day, it stopped helping afterward.
At this point, I genuinely don’t know what to do or where to go for help. It feels like my life is slowly slipping out of my control.
