100% P&T vet starting undergrad.

If I use VR&E or the Post-9/11 GI Bill to cover tuition, can I still take out federal student loans through FAFSA and receive the excess as a refund after school charges are paid?

What is the best way to structure aid/benefits to maximize the amount that actually gets refunded back to me?

I’ve read over the knowledge base and read through the sub and finding conflicting information on this.
