Foxhound puppy help!

I need some hound/lab mix training tips, my girl is easily distracted, off on her own journey etc. I’ve only had labs before who would happily follow me around and do their business when they got outside, strongly food motivated so training wasn’t too bad. This girl seems to be the opposite, she’s not interested in food when there is a world out there, she doesn’t care for a treat as a reward for pottying and don’t even start me on her lack of recall, she doesn’t give two hoots, she would happily go off into the big wide world and never look back….. until she came upon a bigger dog and then she would make a mad dash for my ankles.
I need help with this one, anyone have advice?

Left Aus for 10+ years want to return partner visa.

Hi guys

Anyone have any advice…. I lived in Australia for just under 5 years on a partner visa. During that time my partner became my husband, had a baby etc but then moved overseas for my husbands job. My partner visa ran out in 2018 and I didn’t do anything. We left just after having a baby and it was a relatively quick move so things just didn’t get planned or happen as they probably should have.

Now we want to return to Australia with our two kids - second kid born elsewhere but we have gotten citizenship for them so they aren’t a worry.

It’s just me who needs a visa and I think I need to start over again. The thing is we want to move next year and it looks like offshore visa processing is a lot longer than that. We can’t split our family and we are not living in my home country so I don’t really want to stay here without my husband and kids. Can I enter Australia on an eta and apply in Australia although I will be entering knowing we plan to stay? Is that allowed?

My husband will likely also be getting a new job when we move back, how will this affect his ability to be my sponsor? We have a decent amount of savings and some rental income so I hope this will be ok?

Lastly I have recently found out I have genetically high risk for heart attacks / strokes so am on a statin to help keep my cholesterol low. I’m worried this may affect my medical because 15 years ago when I first applied I was significantly younger and had no health issues. If anyone has any advice or where to start I would love to hear it.

Last time my visa took just over 6 months to get so I wasn’t expecting processing times to be so much longer!

Thanks!
