Has anyone here had a second breast reduction?
What was your experience?
I’m currently looking into having a second reduction about 5 years after my first one. During consultations, surgeons keep bringing up concerns about blood supply/nipple viability with a secondary reduction, which I completely understand, but I’ve also heard of quite a few people having a second reduction without issues.
I still have full sensation and normal responses, and one surgeon mentioned that being a positive factor.
If you’ve had a second reduction:
How long after your first surgery did you do it?
Did your surgeon seem concerned about blood supply?
Did you have any complications with healing or nipple sensation?
Was recovery different the second time around?
