47F, 9 months post lip lift with Dr Greg Bran in London. Very happy overall, scar included

I had a lip lift with Dr Greg Bran in August 2025 in London £6k total including follow-up appointments and some red light therapy sessions to help the scar heal.

Overall I’m really happy with the result. My philtrum was quite long before and I felt like my upper lip disappeared a bit when my face was relaxed, which I think becomes more noticeable with age. The surgery gave me a nicer balance without looking “done” or overfilled. From normal conversational distance the scar is basically invisible now. No one has ever asked me if I had surgery and most people can’t tell anything changed, which was what I wanted.

Recovery-wise, I was not the ideal patient. I was laughing, talking a lot, making exaggerated facial expressions pretty early on and I definitely felt the scar pulling during healing, so I was convinced at some points I had ruined it. Despite that, it healed much better than I expected.

The close-up scar photos are brutal and humbling under phone camera macro mode, but I wanted to post them because most lip lift posts are either filtered, blurry, or taken far away. In real life it’s much softer and harder to notice. The redness continued improving for months.

I also did red light therapy which I think helped calm the scar down a bit, although time was probably the biggest factor.

For anyone considering it: I think lip lifts improvements are subtle but changes facial harmony more than fillers ever did for me. It’s not one of those surgeries where people immediately say you look different, it’s more like the effects gravity are not as visible anymore.

edit: I have added teeth exposure and smile photos in the comments for those who are curious enough t scroll and check these out too, for some reason I can't add more photos to the post.

More updates on my deep neck lift

I got a lot of people saying it looks botched/ it isn’t perfect/etc.

I’d like to provide some more photos as a comparison. And to answer common questions:

- chin lipo is included in a deep plane neck lift.
- I am 28
- the jawline/ neck line is just what my bone anatomy looks like - no further enhancements were done to my bone structure. Whether it’s me or my race it’s just what my bone structure looks like.
- my main concerns were: double chin, no real jawline from the side, and platysmal bands (the bands aren’t shown in these pics)
- I am 4 months post op - still healing and things are still settling.
- I still do have a little double chin when I smile, but I was told that some fat would still be left there to avoid a cobra neck. I’d rather have a little double chin left than a cobra neck. I feel like it also looks natural.
- perfection isn’t my goal. Looking natural and undetectable was my goal.

- “why did I get a deep plane neck lift instead of just lipo?” Because fat wasn’t the only reason I had poor neckline. My submandibular glands created a fullness around my jawline, and my platysma muscles were not ‘tight’ - in the sense that re-draping and positioning was needed to get a snatched contour’d look under my chin. Lipo alone would not have fully addressed that concern - yes it would have helped a little but overtime those issues would still be there and worse since the submandibular glands drop with age. I also had platysmal bands under my chin (not seen) that would have been a bonus to address. IMO, if you have the money for a deep plane neck lift it’s much more ‘harmonious’ to do that then just treat 1 issue (lipo) alone. Lipo alone would have made my submandibular glands even MORE noticeable.

I did not get anything else in terms of a face lift done. My main concern were not due to skinnlaxity or aging or sagging - so this wasn’t an anti aging procedure as much as it was something to contour my jawline in a natural way nothing else could (fillers, etc)

23F flat face/cheekbones

I’m a 23f and I’ve had flat face/no cheek definition for my whole life. I’m wondering what types of filler would best address the issue of having no cheekbone definition on someone who is pretty young. I’ve typically only seen filler discussed for volume loss related to aging. My lack of cheek volume isn’t related to aging, this is just how it’s always been. My weight has fluctuated a bit from my teen years to now but my cheeks have never gotten any fuller.

I’ve done a little bit of research, and from my understanding cheek implants aren’t very common. I’ve consulted with one cosmetic surgeon in my area about them and they suggested that I wait to do anything because I’m still young. I understand why they felt this way but I don’t think I’m going to miraculously gain cheek definition in my mid 20s.

I haven’t done much research on filler but I know there’s one that stimulates collagen production. I’ve read that it can be beneficial for volume loss, so I’m wondering if it could be beneficial for someone who has never had any volume.

Edit: spelling

Boobs too close together and loopy

So, almost 6 weeks ago I had a mini boobjob (165 cc mini Mia Femtech implants). I feel like they sit too closely together. Whenever I wear a any kind of bra they ruin the cleavage because they are pushed together and it doesn’t look nice. Furthermore, I think they are loopy. The nipples point different direction and I’m quite certain non of the implants are fully unfolded. The left one with the nipple pointing up, is more folded than the other one but I like the look of the pointed one better. I feel like I chose the wrong size and projection implants and they should have been placed further apart. What do you think? They have already dropped quite a bit!

Skin pinch + fat transfer

hi guys I had a skin pinch + fat transfer 7 weeks ago. last 2 photos are my before. I have these weird inner corner bumps and lots of texture under my eyes still. i had my consult and the doctor said they will go away but in the last 5 weeks there’s been no changes in those inner corner bumps. I love wearing makeup and it makes it look even more textured and bumpy. I paid a lot of money and it just makes me nervous that u didn’t get my full desired results. he is way more on the conservative side but i dunno if he took enough of my loose skin off. im going through the gigs some other insight would be good.

HA filler 10ml

10ml penis filler, planned and designed distribution based on my unique anatomy not dissimilar to common cosmetic practices vs just slam punching volume in. Base heavy volume with designed taper to dorsal edge.

Is orbital box osteomy reasonable given my face?

I’m 18 and struggle a lot with my looks. I’ve been trying to find any way to fix my face but I feel like it’s too deformed and my only option is OBO. The problem with that is how risky and invasive the surgery is so I’m not sure what to do. I just want to look and feel normal for once and I think surgery is my only hope but I’m worried I’m unable to get OBO bc I don’t have medical complications from my deformities and I’m worried about the risks if I’m eligible for it. Would love input on how bad it is and if there’s any other surgery options with less risk.

Dr Ruslan Zhuravsky

I’m considering Dr Ruslan Zhuravsky for my primary rhinoplasty. I’ve spent months combing through reviews of his work trying to find a negative account. The first negative review I found was several weeks ago; someone who did their revision rhino with him ended up with undesirable results (he had corrected the tip of her nose but her nostrils were uneven and different from one another, and her nose bridge had reverted back to being curved after he used cartilage to reinforce and straighten it). I checked for her post again recently and turns out it was deleted alongside all comments she made on other people’s threads. Can anyone who’s had a rhinoplasty with him tell me about their long term results? I’d really appreciate it. Also if anyone has a rhinoplasty surgeon they recommend I would appreciate the info!

Rib graft nose, one week post op

I had a third rhinoplasty with a rib graft. My only request was to have a straight nose from both the front and the side.

I’m currently one week post-op. Yesterday, my surgeon removed the cast and I saw my nose for the first time.

I can breathe better, but although my nose is obviously still very swollen, it also still looks quite crooked…

My tip still deviates to the left and my septum to the right, just like before.

My surgeon told me to do daily massages to reduce the swelling and also help decrease the asymmetry…

I honestly don’t know what to think. I’m disappointed for now. There is some improvement, but it’s far from what I was hoping for.

Can taping help reduce asymmetry like I’m showing in the photo with my finger?

Has any brown or black person been seen by Dr. Balikian’s team?

Was looking into getting work done by Dr Balikian in Murietta Ca. I was in contact with their staff but stopped receiving a response when I sent in pictures. Also went on their website to see how his technique scars on POC, but noticed there’s wasn’t any POC.

Is this just a coincidence? Has any POC been responded to by his team? Or gotten work done there?

1 year post-rhinoplasty

Hi! I am one year post op of primary rhinoplasty. I still find it hard to look at my nose, I still have a slight bump (am I the only one who sees it)? What do you think about shaving it like what I simulated on the second picture? Is it even worth it? Do « regular » people even notice this or just people who had plastic surgery…

Thanks for you honest opinion

Calling all formerly tiny boobie members 😅

If you started with a very small chest and had a breast augmentation, PLEASE drop your before/after photos along with, if possible:

• Your height & weight
• Implant size (cc)
• Implant type/profile (Motiva Mini, Demi, Ergonomix, etc.)
• Over or under muscle / subfascial
• Your band size if you know it
• Whether you wish you went bigger or smaller

I’m 37, very lean/athletic, 5”6 around 108 lbs, shallow chest anatomy, measured for a 12.5” width implant, and currently leaning toward Motiva Ergonomix Mini 310cc subfascial for my surgery on June 24.

My biggest fear is waking up and feeling like they’re too small or there is not enough upper pole 😭 but when I tried the next size up (380cc Demi), they started feeling too wide/heavy on my frame.
I was recommended not to go round to avoid a drop of or shelf look. Slight possibility I may need a fat transfer after.

Would especially love responses from girls with:
• visible rib cages
• small tissue to start

Deep Plane Face-Neck Lift & Brow Lift — 2 Years Post-Op (Orange County, CA)

One of the most important things to evaluate in facelift surgery is not just the early result—but how the outcome holds up over time. These photos were taken 2 years post-op, showing continued definition through the jawline and neck while still maintaining a natural appearance.

For my patient featured in this post, a well-executed face-neck lift paired with a brow lift is designed to restore facial support structures, reposition descended tissue, and improve contour without creating an overly tight or “operated” look. Longevity comes from addressing deeper anatomy rather than simply tightening skin alone.

At 70, the goal is not to make someone look different—it’s to create a more rested, refreshed version of themselves while preserving facial character and expression.

A facelift could not stop the aging, but it does 2 important things. First, the clock is turned back many years so the patient looks much younger; second, the aging process going forward happens at a slower rate. Most patients for the first few years after their facelift do not show much aging at all.

Happy to answer any questions below.

Saw another post where the comments were saying the OP could have lipodema and now I'm worried because my legs look similar. Is this something I can fix with diet & exercise or would it require lipo?

For reference I am 5'2 and 108lbs (158cm and 49kg). I have always stored weight in my legs more than anywhere else.

Would chin filler help my face look slimmer?

Would 1ml chin filler help make my face look slimmer and longer? I'm insecure about the shape and also have some stretchy excess skin around my jawline. Would chin filler tighten that up too?

Do you think this result is possible for rhinoplasty? Has anyone here with a before nose similar to mine undergone surgery? Thanks

Face lift at 30? What type? Looks so much better in second photo.

First photo: resting
Second photo: pulling my skin up which I feel greatly improves my nasolabial fold, lower cheek (jowls?) heaviness, corner of mouth heaviness, jawline definition, the malar, tear trough to cheek transition. To me that looks like a huge difference.

Full disclosure: I am 5’3, 152lbs, my usual weight is 120lbs, so i will be losing weight (not sure if that’ll help or make it worse)

Was considering buccal fat removal (I know, I know) as well as dermal filler to hide the shadowing, but now I’m not sure especially after I just had a bad experience with cheek filler yielding no results.

Is it possible to get this result in my second photo from a facelift, if so, what type? And am I a candidate?

Before and after deep neck lift

I do notice a slight double chin still there post surgery (4 months). I’m not thrilled but it’s better than before. Still some numbness and tightness so I’m sure itll keep looking different as time goes on. My scar keloided (not visible in pic) so I’m getting steroid injections by my surgeon. Overall thrilled with my results though I think the slight double chin makes it look more natural. I am 28. Never overweight so my double chin before was genetic due to a recessed chin/ lower face.
