Seeking advice: tired of being ugly

Just curious what sort of work I should look into having done as I don't know much of what's even possible.

I know for sure I want an upper blepharoplasty to correct my droopy eyelid. My profile is terrible- my teeth don't fit together properly so I know I should address that, but maybe chin filler in the meantime (assuming I wean my toddler before I get pregnant again)? I also have super hollow undereyes and I'm wondering what actually works for those. I'm a little afraid of filler there because I hear it can form bags. I also have a very gummy smile that I hate.

I won't be able to do much for a few years as I am currently breastfeeding and plan on having another baby soon, but I would love advice on what can be rdone when I'm finished this chapter of my life (or what can be done while breastfeeding baby number 2- perhaps a good time to fix my bite?).

Thanks in advance 😘

What procedures would you get?

Help!
I posted earlier this week and got mixed comments, (many advising I work out). I work out a lot and have a strong core, but have had three babies and there’s excess skin everywhere. I am 5’2 and 112 lbs.

I am getting a BA and want to add on. I’m bothered by:

-extra skin on butt on waist
-c scar and “shelf”
-diastasis (2 fingers) causing pooching
-belly button scarring from a piercing

I was offered by the surgeon:

-lipo with renuvion for abdominal (will only help tighten up to 30%) costs $3000
- extended tummy tuck to above hip (to help loose skin on butt and thigh)$9000

While cost is a concern, I am willing to invest and want long term solutions. I’m am mostly worried about the scar. I want to look good naked 😆

If you’ve had these procedures please share your experience!

And please do not tell me to work out! 😂

3DPO breast lift <3

Just took my first shower and removed my bandages. Obvi not the final result but I’m so happy and obsessed with the shape. My doctor removed about 60g of loose skin from each breast and lifted my nipple from ca 30cm to 22cm. Recovery has been so smooth as well! <3 still have full sensation in both nipples too!

Has anyone had a GOOD experience dissolving filler?

Got 1ml jaw filler a few weeks ago, swelling has subsided and honestly the changes are pretty subtle, but I still don’t love it. Considering washing my hands of this all and just dissolving in hopes of reverting to my pre-filler appearance, but dissuaded (and mildly terrified, lol) by all the horror stories of hylauronise I’ve seen on Reddit. Has anyone had a GOOD experience to share? I think I’m probably less at risk of adverse effects just because the filler is so recent + I haven’t had anything else, but still on the fence. Thanks :) honestly had I known what I know now about filler/dissolving it I’d have genuinely never gone through with it, thought it was going to be something conservative and easily reversible but so far I’m afraid that it’s been nothing but a source of anxiety, lol.

Day 7 Post OP of Rhinoplasty, Fat graft under eye, and 2mm buccal fat removal from each side

Here we go babyyy.

I still have a slight ptosis I wanna fix but that's after the current procedure is healed.

Eating was rough for 1-3 days (liquids mostly), eyes were very tearly even now and very sensitive for 2-3 days but good to go mostly now.

I included pre op pics.

Asian Rhinoplasty Before and After

I’m 11 days post-op and had my cast and stitches removed yesterday.

I had a silicone implant for the bridge and ear cartilage for the tip.

I am very swollen from the front profile that I can barely recognize myself! I feel like the tip is especially swollen right now. But I know that’s completely normal at this stage, and the swelling will gradually go down.

Going into surgery, I asked my doctor for more tip projection because I never liked how short my old nose looked. As for the bridge, my surgeon said I didn’t need much added, so we kept it pretty conservative.

At the moment, I’m obsessed with my side profile. I’m really curious to see how much both my side and front profiles will change over the next few months as the swelling continues to settle.

4 skin removal surgeries later and I'm feeling pretty great

Can finally call it healed, 3 years, 4 surgeries and a lot of skin gone - I think I picked the right lady for the job - she did incredible.

Advice- Tummy tuck or renuvion? What’s your experience with scarring?

Help! I have a motiva breast lift coming up and was planning on making it a mommy makeover. My surgeon gave me a quote for:

 1. Renuvion and lipo on abdomen
 2. extended tummy tuck to address some loose skin on thighs and butt

She says I’m sort of in between. I have a small diastasis and a c section scar, a funny belly button and a very small pooch. I’m not looking for perfection, just improvement. My biggest hold up is the scarring!!!

Here is a pic. What are your thoughts?

u/sourpatch36 — 1 day ago

How do y’all deal with the idea of potential complications?

Was scrolling through the Tummy tuck subreddit sorted by the top posts and saw literally the most perfect outcomes someone could possibly have and then I saw someone who lost like 50% of their abdomen’s skin. (I’m glad she’s better now though!)

Ik most people don’t have major complications but it feels like such a high risk high reward game 🙃.

6 week update- breast lift and implants + lipo 360 with renuvion

MUCH much better. I am increasingly happy with my results as time goes by. Everything is dropping and settling nicely and I look natural in clothing.

First two photos are from 3 days post-op, last two are most current. I don’t love the scars, but they’ll fade.

Original post: Looking for some reassurance

Hi, all! I am post-op day 3 from OTM breast aug plus lift and I also did lipo 360 with renuvion to my torso. I ended up getting Motiva ergonomix Demi profile, 360 cc on the left and 320 cc on the right. For reference, 40 yo, I am 5ft 10in and weigh in the mid 160s, athletic build. I’ve had two kids and breastfed, so the lift was necessary.

Right now, I feel SO tight and way too big. Questioning if I went too big and driving myself nuts.

Breast Augmentation- Vancouver/Canada or should I travel abroad?

I am 21 turning 22 and have always been so insecure about my chest. I want to spend my 20s comfortable in my body and feeling more like myself. I would prefer affordability but obviously the end result and expertise of the surgeon are my top priorities. I am wondering if it would be better and cheaper overall to get it done in Vancouver (I live in Victoria BC) or to go elsewhere in Canada or travel to the US or somewhere outside of North America?

Looking for blepharoplasty Dr. recommendation in LA

Hi everyone,
I have been wanting a blepharoplasty for years. My eyelids are a great cause of insecurity for me, and I recently went on a hike and wanted to take a picture and my eyes just completely ruined it. So I’ve decided I need to get this surgery done. I have decided to attach said picture so you can see what I’m working with.
I would appreciate if someone could share their bleph experiences in LA, and if you recommend your doctor or not and why, and lastly, how much did your surgery cost.
It would be awesome if you could share pictures of your before and after as well.

Weak jaw or nose bigger problem?

I’m curious if it would be best to address my nose or my chin/jaw area if I want a more harmonious appearance from the front and a more defined one from the side. I will be attending some consultations but I’d like to hear opinions as well

Also to note, I don’t have any issues with my breathing or sleeping due to recession.

Under eye blepharoplasty? Or something else?

Hello :)

42 M - I am living really healthy etc, but one think that has started frustrating my little is my under-eye area.

On the top photo I am smiling, so that makes it show "everything", and on the lower one I am just resting. I have a small eye bag - or whatever it is - in the side of my right eye (as shown on the bottom photo), that I would really like to get rid of.

In general I just want my eye area to look how I generally feel - well-rested. I get my 8 hours of sleep, plenty of good nutrition, vitamins, water - you name it. But I feel like I look a bit tired due to that.

I was consindering getting under eye blepharoplasty, but I dont know if there is anything else I should be consindering? Botox? Fillers? I am pretty new to this world.

I do a "normal" skincare routine, and last year I started getting "vampire" microneedling, but that doesnt go into the under-eye area.

I have a little "Crows feet" as shown on the top photo, but nothing else on my face so far.

Well, all advice is very welcome :)

How did you choose your plastic surgeon when no one checked every box?

I'm hoping to get some advice from people who have already gone through this!!

I'm 5'4", 143 lbs after significant weight loss, and I've narrowed my search down to two surgeons for a Lipo 360 + tummy tuck + BBL. The problem is that each surgeon has something I really like, and neither one checks every box 🫠

One surgeon has a lot of post-weight-loss patients whose before bodies look very similar to mine (loose skin, similar fat distribution, etc.), and I love his tummy tuck/liposculpting results. The downside is he doesn't post many healed BBL results.

The other surgeon posts a lot more healed results, and his patients' after bodies are much closer to the aesthetic I'm going for (natural, balanced proportions), but I don't see as many patients who started with a body like mine.

For those of you who have been through this, what ended up being the deciding factor? Did you choose the surgeon whose patients looked like you before surgery, or the one whose after results matched your goal? Or was there something else entirely that made the decision for you?

I'd love to hear what you wish you had considered before choosing your surgeon !

FDL 360 Tummy Tuck Incisions Opening

UPDATE #2

Wounds do not appear to be infected, but they took samples for testing to be certain. It appears to just be wound dehiscence.

The wounds have been irrigated, packed, and bandaged with instructions to follow up with wound care Monday, as this is unlikely to heal without a wound vac on each site. The er doctor will also come over tomorrow and Sunday to continue monitoring.

I am very fortunate to have that access to care pretty much 24/7 when needed. I just hate to be the person who bugs them for medical advice. This was an exception, and I had tried to reach them prior to posting. It's the busiest week of the year in our town of ~4000 people with thousands of tourists visiting for the 4th of July, and our hospital only has one doctor on duty at a time.

Thanks everyone. I'll be heading back home soon.

UPDATE

ER doctor relative called. They say it doesn't look infected, but since I'm concerned they are going to have someone come and get me. So going to the er just out of precaution.

Two weeks post-op and returned home 3 days ago from Mexico with a jp drain (the bulb suction kind) and an open drain remaining in place. I've continued wearing my compression garments around the clock except when bathing or changing the gauze, eating plenty of protein, and resting in an adjustable bed.

The incisions around my drains are opening up to the point that I now have to use a combination of gauze, tape, and compression to keep suction in the one drain. Both openings are a little over an inch in length. There are 2 additional smaller openings as well, so a total of 4, with one each on my abdomen, back, and both flanks.

My surgeon advised that these openings are larger than expected and to remove both drains at this time and to continue lymphatic massage.

I'm kind of freaking out. Has anyone in here dealt with something similar? What was the outcome?

Is this really achievable or is it a lie?

Hi guys! So as you can see, the lady in the before picture had a high eyelid crease, maybe due to some hollowing. The after picture shows her after a blepharoplasty which changed her eyelid shape. Since my eyes are very similar to her before pic, will a blepharoplasty get me the same result, or did she get other procedures which aren't mentioned here?

Thanks!
