Navy vs police officer

I’m looking for people’s opinions who have been in the Navy and the police force. What did you like better? Why? How is leadership? How is your coworkers? What are the pros and cons? I’m currently in the Navy and I really want to get out and become a police officer. I feel like in the Navy my job is meaningless and barely has any positive impact.

Any update on the toucan?

I was wondering if anyone has heard anything about the toucan Marley. The story blew my mind and I’ve not forgot about this Bird. I’m just curious if anyone has seen him or knows if the owner recovered him. I will not sleep well at night until I know he has been returned home.

Censorship on military subs

Has anyone noticed certain military branch subreddits using censorship and trying to push a narrative? Are there any subreddits that you can think of that are possibly being used to control narratives or push out propaganda instead of it being a space for members of that military branch? I’ve recently come across something like this. I’m just wondering if anyone else has also noticed this.

I’m not surprised by this, but I got banned from u/askwoman because I got to an argument with them over comments they kept removing. They will allow people to post up things, criticizing men all the time but anytime you reply to any of those comments arguing against what they’re saying or at the least being logical and my comment would be removed for that. I’ve been flagged, had my comment removed, & also band for 3 days because of hate speech when the person I was replying to was trying to say that men are always the problem and that women are always a victim. I practically disagreed with that and said that no one should ever be accused or the victim based on race or gender. But somehow that’s considered hate speech.
