Hi all! Relatively new to watch repairing. I have a Swiss emperor 17J, with possibly a FHF-974 movement, that has a lot of sentimental value. The watch never gave any resistance when winding possible due to a an issue with the click. Perhaps because of this it was overwound and stopped working when I was winding it. Gave it a few taps and it started working but unfortunately stopped after half a day. On opening the piece, it seems like power is either not reaching the balance wheel or something might be physically blocking it from moving. Before I completely dismantle it, I wanted to get an understanding of if the balance wheel is damaged as there seems to be a kink in the hairspring so I can order spares.
