I got accepted to KFUPM (67th QS), in a new program called Semiconductor Design and Engineering. I am interested in electrical/computer engineering because I like math, physics, and programming, but as a high school student, I don't know much about the pros and cons of this major. Since it is a new program with a specific name, my questions are:
• Do you think this program will enable me to work in the semiconductor industry outside of Saudi Arabia? (I’m Saudi and the university is in Saudi Arabia).
• Is it better to major in something broader like ECE or EE?
Any information will help me make my decision.
