I keep getting a check engine light and the code is P257D but my hood isn’t open nor does it say it is on my dash. Is anyone familiar with this?

I have a 6th gen camaro 2ss with brembos. I’m looking to buy new brakes and rotors. I’m going to purchase z26 PowerStop brake pads but don’t know which rotors to get. I see a lot of bad reviews with slotted/drilled rotors so I’m going plain. Would yall recommend AcDelco, GM Genuine, Dynamic Friction, or should I just get the kit with slotted/drilled rotors?
