Hello !

I recently came across The Grammar of Fantasy by Gianni Rodari lately, and I feel like it would make a great birthday present for my best friend - it does seem to be quite focused on fairytales or children’s stories (from what I could see flicking through). My question is if anyone has read it - would it be suitable for someone who likes writing as a hobby, and especially enjoys the world-building aspect of reading - or if there’s anything similar that may be appropriate?

She also likes sci-fi if there’s anything that falls under that too!!
