How many toys did you have growing up? (Would love to hear especially from boomers and older genx)

Younger millenial here. I had one plastic bin full of toys and another full of stuffed animals at most I had those and a barbie castle. I also has both a bike and a scooter. My parent weren't rich by any means a lot of this stuff was second hand and amassed over several years of yard sales, birthdays, and christmas.

My son has about two and a half bins worth of toys that I rotate out for him and hes not even 2 yet. Granted a lot of it is big wooden toys. I keep thinking about like stories from my parents (boomers) about having 1 toy car or doll and maybe some board games shared with siblings.

I'd love to hear what older generations group up with?

I dont know if this has been shared before but those little cotton bloomers for baby girls to wear under dresses make great cheap little undies options. Size down because they're meant to go over diapers. My 18m size boy is in 9m ones. I'd originally got them for him to wear with a shirt and a disposable diaper when we lived in a really hot climate and crappy ac to make it easier to EC. But, when I found myself going through our old stuff I had the idea to use them as little undies (not training pants! They dont absorb much). If you're needing small undies and dont want to spend like 10 dollars a pair.

We have these in the navy and white
