First week, -3.5kgs or 7 pounds

Hey everyone, today is officially my first week on reta, and I can honestly say it’s kind of changed my life already. Like what do you mean I wake up and I’m not thinking about breakfast? I don’t go to sleep excited about what I’m gonna eat in the morning anymore, and throughout the day food just isn’t constantly on my mind. Even when I go out and order food, I barely finish it, and I’m just sitting there like, what is happening?

I’ve already lost a noticeable amount of weight since starting. In the beginning I felt super bloated and heavy, so I think a lot of the first drop was probably water weight because there’s no way that much body fat disappeared in one week. But hopefully some of it is fat loss too.

Since it’s been a full week since my first shot, I do feel a little hungry today. I also haven’t eaten since around 7 p.m. yesterday, and it’s currently 11 a.m. Honestly though, I’m gonna stay on the starter dose (1mg) for now because it’s working perfectly fine.

One thing I am really worried about is losing muscle. I go to the gym around four times a week, and my main goal is to look toned because I’m kind of skinny fat right now. The problem is I physically cannot eat a lot anymore, so getting enough protein feels impossible. I’m trying, but I genuinely don’t know how people manage to maintain or even build muscle while eating this little.

If anyone has gone through the same thing while on reta, please share your experience or advice because I’d really appreciate it ❤️
