Any skin products that are the best for spotty, dry redness?
I have been combating some dryness/ redness that has been on my face as of late. The first time this happened, I believe a part of it was an irritant from detergent/laundry softener we had bought so I basically washed my bed sheets/clothes with fragrance free sensitive skin and it helped I think. My ex wife also was a huge skin care person so she helped me too.
Unfortunately (or fortunately depending on who you ask) I don’t have her anymore, and my face has been getting red again. I have all fragrance free sensitive skin stuff and it doesn’t help at all.
For some context I do have some pretty bad seborrheic dermatitis on my head that I’ve gotten under control but as of late my keto/t sal hasn’t been doing the job as much despite being consistent. I have moved, so I don’t know if it has something to do with the water being different? Honestly I am very lost with this stuff and any advice would help.
I did google this before and it basically said to stop using everything because my skin barrier is comprised but unfortunately I can’t. If I don’t atleast moisturize my face I’m shedding like a lizard.
I know I should probably see a dermatologist but I don’t have the insurance for it right now. I’m hoping somebody can give me some advice in the meantime.
TL;DR best products that you’ve used to combat flaky red face that fragrance free face wash and moisturizer isn’t agreeing with right now.
