Hyperpigmentation

Hello everyone ! I have some hyper pigmentation on my for head from picking at my skin in the past ( I know I shouldn’t ). I’ve been left with these red and dark brown spots on my face which won’t fade some of them being there for a few years. I’ve used vitamin c serum and have not seen a improvement. I currently have not been breaking out. Hoping someone has a few product suggestions that have helped them with this. Thank you !

How do you stop your vitamin C serum from oxidizing before you finish it?

Every vitamin C serum I buy starts degrading around the 3-4 week mark, it turns yellow, sometimes orange, occasionally smells different. I know oxidized vitamin C is basically useless but I hate throwing out an expensive product. Has anyone actually found a solution that keeps it fresh for the whole bottle? Looking for real experiences not just what brands claim.

What to do to these ?

I kind of messed up my left side as you can see. There are little yellowish stuff coming out when I squeeze my pores on that side and white ones near my lips and chin. How to improve the yellowish ones and make it like my right side again? And do they look enlarged or just stuffed? Also what to do for the white stuff on my chin and near lips? I added my routine though I don't do it everyday. I recently got the aha/bha toner and I think few red spots on my left cheek is caused by that because I kind of used it harshly 😭. My skin type is sensitive- combination (leaning dry).

Bioderma Sensibio Micellar water - did I get a fake one

or did they change branding recently?

the one on the left is the old one, the right is the new one.

curious to hear if this means that they also changed the formula and if anyone has noticed any difference.

I don't know how to apply sunscreen,

I take like 1 cm³ and apply it on my face, because it makes my skin sweaty(still it does).

Do i have to apply more?

Do i have to apply anything else before applying sunscreen?

Do i have to use more?

Do i have to apply it daily even if i am not going out?

Sunscreen recs for the most sensitive skin LIKE VERY

I really need a good solid sunscreen. My skin is so unbelievably sensitive (I’m on Accutane) and in general it always has been. The only sunscreen I’ve truly liked is the La Roche posay tinted mineral one but the color is just too off for day to day like too dark and so I bought the fluid one same exact sunscreen but the chemical version I believe and it’s white but blends in clear and immediately I felt a slight burning nothing too crazy but the next day I got a bunch of irritation bumps on my forehead and around my mouth. I really need some good recs

Used carotone lightening cream on my armpits and it made discoloration worse

Hi! I decided to try out carotone lightening cream because I heard it could help with under arm hyperpigmentation. I used it ONCE and it turned the skin all around my armpit red and the discoloration has gotten worse. This was a week ago, I figured if it was irritation it would be gone by now but it’s showing no signs of going away. Does anyone have any ideas on what to do?

[Routine Help] Do my products help this issue?

Hi! I never used to have this issue, I’ve always had pretty good skin, but for the last probably 6 months I’ve had irritated and clogged skin between my eyebrows and I feel lost with how to treat it.

Here is what I use on my skin! I also added a photo up close of what my skin looks like currently. What should my routine be with my current products? Am I missing something that helps with my specific issue? Thanks!

Vanicream evil? lol [Product Request]

I’m not sure how I just realized this, but I’m pretty sure Vanicream Liquid Cleanser is ruining my skin.

My skin has been dry/dehydrated for a while now. I thought maybe I just over exfoliated so I stopped everything and just went to vanicream liquid cleanser ONLY at night followed by the vanicream lotion (lotion I love doesn’t break me out).

I have been using this face wash for a while but was only maybe a few times a week then I moved to every night.

I have been doing only this for 2+ months to fix my barrier but My skin seems to be getting worse texture, very bad clogged pores, red and tight. And everything seems to irritate my skin.

I thought this cleanser cleaned really well but maybe it’s been stripping my skin this whole time?

What cleanser is more gentle to this and won’t break me out? I’m about to just give up on skincare entirely and do caveman

Is it normal to use up a whole jar of moisturizer in one month, or am I using too much?

I just got the TirTir Matcha PDRN Calming Cream on April 6, and just used it up two days ago, on May 17. So it only took me one month and 11 days to use up 50 ml (1.7 fl oz) of face cream. I used it on my face morning and night and on my neck every night.

Is it normal to use up 50 ml or moisturizer in a month, or am I using too much?

Im convinced there’s not a single sunscreen that will work for me.

Every sunscreen I’ve used gives me more closed comedones. Even the ones for sensitive skin and the ones people say didn’t give them closed comedones. Paula’s choice youth liquid spf broke me out so bad it took weeks to recover. I’m testing out the numbuzin 1 spf but it burns a little so I have low hopes. I really need an spf because I’m on tretinoin and benzoyl peroxide. Does anybody know what can I do because I’m so sick of buying sunscreens and them not being any different from the rest🫩🫩🫩

My routine is:
AM: skin1004 centella extract, Purtio oat calming gel, Yerba matte eye gel, clindamycin and benzoyl peroxide combo gel 1% & 5%. (Monday, Wednesday, Friday)

PM: skin1004 centella extract, Purtio oat calming gel, Yerba matte eye gel, tretinoin 0.025% 4x a week and then moisturizer again over tret.

I wanted to try and lean off of the clindamycin combo because I don’t want to build up bacterial resistance, especially since I’ve been using for almost a year but my skin did not like it when I reduced using it.
