Dental expenses
Hi I’m 23, female, UK in need of help with dental treatment costs.
I had a filling a few weeks ago and while it was being done the dentist filled it directly onto the nerve and said nothing to me about it. Because of this the nerve has died and I had to borrow money to have an emergency appointment to have the nerve taken out and relieve the pain. The whole course of treatment totals to £1800 but I have no way to pay for it as I can’t work currently while I care for my mother.
I tried to find a cheaper alternative like having the tooth pulled or a cheaper provider but most dentists refuse to touch the tooth because of its complex roots and because they curl back on themselves I would have to have a surgical extraction. My best option is this endodentist that specialises in complex roots but the whole treatment comes to £1800.
I am so embarrassed to ask for help but I thought i would try just in case there was anyone who could assist me.
