Anyone here gone through an Elegoo Saturn replacement/RMA process?
Has anyone here gone through an Elegoo replacement/RMA process for a Saturn printer?
I have a Saturn 4 Ultra with only 14 prints in its history. After normal printing use, I found resin underneath the printer and later discovered resin contamination inside the machine during inspection/cleaning.
The printer is also now showing a resin tank detection/self-check error.
I performed the static water leak test requested by Elegoo, but no visible leak appeared during the test. However, I still suspect the issue may only happen under real printing conditions (FEP flex, vibration, pressure, thermal cycles, etc.).
Elegoo has now offered me a replacement unit, but they want me to send my current printer first before they ship the replacement.
I would like to know:
- Has anyone here gone through the same replacement process with Elegoo?
- How long did the full process take?
- Did they cover shipping costs?
- Was the replacement unit actually in good condition?
- Did your warranty continue normally afterwards?
Any experiences or advice would really help. Thanks!
