Terrible interaction with googlefi support and new customer
I recently switched to Google fi after being with T-Mobile. I brought over my unlocked Google pixel 9A for the promotion of getting 12 months of 50% off my bill.
I spoke with an agent a few days ago and I didn't get anywhere as they said that my phone was ineligible. I spoke with a new agent today as I read more under the fine print and realized my phone was completely eligible.
This agent did nothing to help me besides running me and loops of copy and pasted text. Told me that I did everything right but it was a system error that they can't fix. After clarifying that I did everything correctly but he can't fix it I asked the case to be escalated which he said he'd do.
He never did so and then proceeded to say I'm sorry you feel that way when I expressed my frustrations. As a new customer with Google fi this is a big slap in the face cause not only did I not get my promotion but I got a very rude customer service representative. Saying I'm sorry you feel that way feels very disrespectful when I've been respectful of the whole conversation.
