Updated Nerf List

Rex
🆕 Built-in weapon particles per shot: 20 → 10

50% reduction in built-in weapon damage. The robot should remain functional but mediocre at MK3 …and trash from MK2 downwards.

SWORD Unit-190
🆕 Melee attack damage per particle: 3,000 → 6,000

Sword damage is insignificant atm. They doubled it. Twice nothing is still nothing.

Hastatus
🆕 Stasis Barrier charges: 3 → 5 → 3
Quantum Lock duration: 2.5 → 1 s

Absurd and exaggerated nerf that screams "refund me”. Hastatus will have -60% Stasis Barrier duration (7.5s → 3s).

Celsius / Fahrenheit / Kelvin
🆕 Shot interval: 0.05 → 0.10 s → 0.07 s

They reduced the nerf, but the interval between particles will still be 40% longer than it is today. This translates to 40% less damage during the burst. Pixonic will probably give away many of these weapons before the rebalance. Don't be fooled and don't upgrade them.

Velos / Machaira / Basileus
Ammo: 120 → 100
🆕 Acceleration: +40% → +20% (as compared to 12.1)

They reversed course on the acceleration. Still a 20% DPS nerf. They will remain good mid-range weapons. An example of balancing done correctly.

Hippo / Kroko / Liodari

Damage per particle:
🆕 Light: 42,000 → 44,500 → 30,000
🆕 Medium: 63,000 → 65,000 → 45,000
🆕 Heavy: 84,000 → 86,000 → 60,000
Maximum damage bonus from damage taken: 100% → 50%
🆕 Effective incoming damage cap: 300,000 → 400,000

About 28% damage nerf per hit, not counting the heavy bonus nerf. Since these weapons are incredibly strong today they should remain a viable option.

Elox / Murix

· 🆕 Damage per particle: 1,500 → 1,600
→ 1,500
· Particles per shot:
· · Light: 16 → 10
· · Medium: 25 → 20

Murix will remain functional with a 20% damage nerf. Elox will inexplicably have a 36% damage reduction and go straight to the trash bin.

Venire / Vincere

Damage per particle:
🆕 Alpha: 2,250 → 2,300
🆕 Beta: 1,925 → 2,000
🆕 Time to overheat: 12 → 9 s → 7 s
Time to cool down: 4 → 3 s

Until last week, this weapon family was receiving proper balancing. The time to overheat has dropped considerably, and it's becoming clear they will turn into trash.

Conclusion: as many expected, the trend is for the "balance list" to become more unbalanced with each passing week. And this has very little to do with test server data or player feedback. Thats just theater; everything is premeditated. The number of players considering quitting the game has increased even more within my clan with this latest list. It is advisable not to make any upgrades or spend on the game until the final list.

R’LYEH MOTHERSHIP BUG NEEDS URGENT ACTION

Several players have reported that the new ship is reducing up to 98% of the health of enemy Titans and robots. This was already happening on the Test Server and inexplicably made its way to the Live Server. I hope I'm wrong, but it seems like something intentional to boost sales of the ship upon its release, only to be fixed weeks later. If you come across someone ruining the match with the new ship, you should probably report them at the end of the match for "bug abuse."

The B-Side of every WR Rebalance: future metas

Surprised by the "excessive" nerfs to the new flamethrowers, Rex weapons, UE Sonics and other brawler weapons? The answer lies in the new bot that will arrive on the live server right after the rebalance. Rebalances are often about future metas, not just the current one. You might remember the absurd nerfs to all mid-range weapons a few months ago. Soon after, we saw Hastatus, Pillum, UE Typhoon, and UE Wasps being released, all operating at mid-range. This practice of reducing the damage of an entire range bracket in a rebalance has two sides: forcing players to buy into the new meta to be able to compete in the recently nerfed range, and also preventing new items from being too strong upon release (something necessary in the long run). Mamba, the bot that will arrive right after the rebalance, will have short-range weapons (200m) and will be highly dependent on stealth when landing among enemies. Elox/Murix, Kelvin/Farenheit/Celsius, UE Devastator/Scatter would be excellent weapons to counter Mamba… just as they already are against any other short-range stealth bot. The harsh nerfs to these weapons, and by extension to all weapons up to 350m, are largely about paving the way for the new meta. For better or worse.agree/disagree?
