Keep in mind Akemura has not seen Samura for years at this point and the first things he notes is about how he looks cool when he isn't blind.

I get he has never seen him without his glasses but it still is so funny to me.

This small moment hits harder when we know he was always kind off goofy in the seitei war arc with how it interacts with his teacher.

These small moments among with this one really show how despite being a mass murderer and war criminal Akemura still is human and has his goofy traits and that part of him never changed.

And that feels so human.

I'm really curious on how Hokazono handles his fall to darkness after reareading this fight.
