I'm an international student looking for T-Kurs Studienkolleg

Hi everyone,

I'm an international student looking to study engineering in Germany and may need to attend a T-Kurs Studienkolleg first.

I'm trying to find public (or very affordable) Studienkollegs that:

  • Offer a T-Kurs
  • Have no entrance exam, or a relatively easy admission process
  • Accept students with little German (A2 or similar) and allow them to improve their German during the program
  • Lead to a recognized Feststellungsprüfung (FSP)

I recently found the International Study Center in Paderborn, which offers a pathway starting from A2 German, but it is private and quite expensive.

Do any public Studienkollegs in Germany offer something similar? Or are there any public options that are known to be more accessible for students who are still learning German?

I'd appreciate any recommendations or personal experiences.

Thank you!
