I feel like that extra hour consumes enough of the day. It’d be nice to get out at 3:00 PM instead of 4:00 PM if I entered at 7:00 AM.

I’m a new grad who was just provided interim clearance.

How safe is to resign my current job after accepting an offer with a proposed date from Raytheon? I’m really worried about resigning now and the offer being rescinded. This is a new grad, full-time role so I just need to do background check, proof of graduation, etc. and obtain clearance at some point as my role requires it.

I’m a U.S. citizen with no other citizenship. My background is fairly straightforward, but I have some relatives in Mexico who I don’t really talk to. I visit Mexico every now and then.

I had a strong interview earlier this week for a P1 Systems Engineering position. Yesterday, I received an automated email saying that they also want to interview for a P1 Software Development Engineering position. However, today, I received an offer letter for the SWE position. I noticed that my manager listed is a Systems Engineer, but earlier this month, he advertised applications for the SWE position.

Is this normal? Should I just accept? The salary for this role is higher.

Also, is it possible to delay my available starting date by a couple days? And how likely is this offer to be rescinded if contingencies are not satisfied?

I’d really appreciate any help!
