Issues with cat pooping on the floor
For some context I have two cats, one girl 8 ish months old and one boy 4 ish months old and I've run into a problem. He was pooping on the floor when we first got him, specifically under the bed, but I took the bed down so he couldn't anymore. Then, he started using the litter. There was random times where he would poop on the floor, and I enquired the vets about it, but with failure they said "he's still young so he likely hasn't got used to it". I have thought of everything I can think of, changing litter if he was picky, diet, even trying to seperate the cats encase he was uncomfortable or something, but no luck. I don't want to get rid of him, but at the same time we're renting and this can't be happening as it'll ruin the carpet. I can't think of anything else that could be causing this, any suggestions?
