I’ve been living in Luxembourg and opened a BGL account a few months ago, but unfortunately I’m finding it quite inconvenient.

I don’t use an iPhone, and neither the debit nor the credit card provided by BGL can be added to Google Pay. So far, I’ve been getting around this by making an instant bank transfer to my Revolut account and using Revolut for payments.

However, I’ve had quite a few situations where BGL’s instant transfers didn’t work, which can be pretty frustrating.

I’m therefore considering switching to either BIL or Raiffeisen. My employer has agreements with both banks that would give me a free credit card, so they seem like interesting alternatives.

For anyone using BIL or Raiffeisen together with Revolut: can you top up your Revolut balance directly using your bank card?

I’d also be interested to hear about your general experience with either bank, especially regarding Revolut transfers/top-ups and mobile payments.
