Musty bag odour
Hey everyone, I was recently given an old Arc’teryx bora 70 hiking pack that has a lot of sentimental value to me. Overall it’s actually in really great shape for its age, but it has one issue: the inside has some white/ yellow staining and the bag has a pretty strong funky/musty smell. I already tried soaking it for a few hours in water with soap and then hang drying it in the sun, but honestly the stains and smell still persist and it didn’t really help much. I’d really like to clean it up properly without damaging the materials. Does anyone have recommendations for the best way to safely remove stains and odors from an older technical backpack? Any specific soaps, cleaning methods, or things I should avoid would be super appreciated.
