AITA for confessing to my bestfriend ex?
We are all classmates and he and this girl dated for a year on and off and broke up a year ago, during that period of time i never liked her and things went on as usual.
In the last ~3 months we started talking and i caught feelings for her and i recently confessed what i felt.
Initially she said that she wanted to stay friends but after i distanced myself to take some time she reapproached me saying that she was confused and kinda missed me (that part we are still figuring out)
Yesterday i ended up telling the first part of the story to him and he didnt really take it that well basically saying that it is unacceptable, worth nothing that he has been in a different relationship for the last 8 months and hes doing just fine.
i really dont know what to think/do, i probably should have done things differently and informed him beforehand to figure it out but i feel like it would have been even worse
