Do I take him back
Hi everyone, I am in my late teens and a girl. Last year I dated a guy for eight months and it ended terribly, he thought I was cheating so he cheated (I was not cheating and proved it), he scared me and I lost a baby. Anyways. Recently, he’s come back into my life asking for another chance. Of course I was completely sceptical, it’s been almost a year since we broke up and I literally haven’t given him a second thought since, although both our lives went into complete disarray. When together, he promised he would try to change for me and he’s actually done it. He hasn’t got in any fights, he hasn’t touched me without permission (like hugs and stuff) and he hasn’t made promiscuous or rude comments about me, he has been paying attention and following my lead as seen fit. When we last dated, it took me a month to even be comfortable enough to kiss him but now… I will admit, it’s been a week and we already have. My sister is worried he’s manipulating me but I knew every single tick and tremble of this man like the back of my hand and I still do, he’s just a better person in general and it’s actually so attractive to me. Can I get some advice on whether I need to be more careful with myself and my peace? I know how to handle everything if need be (all legal don’t worry) and I’m not worried about my own safety, but some outside input would be appreciated :)
