My work friend is having a baby and I wanted to make her a baby blanket. I bought Yarnsmiths Chenille DK because it's soft and pretty but then I read washing instructions (30°) and now im worried that it's got a good choice.

I made a blanket with chenille type of yarn before and it was great, but it was for an adult and it wouldn't get dirty as much as with baby/young child.

Did anyone make a baby blanket form chenille yarn before? Or have an experence with that yarn and how to wash it.
