Plz help me: Lumbosacral scoliosis

Plz help me: Lumbosacral scoliosis

Seeking advice:
I am 27 years old. When I was 7, my parents took me to a hospital for an examination and it was discovered that I had scoliosis caused by multiple congenital hemivertebrae in the lumbosacral region. At that time, the spinal curvature was 45 degrees. The doctor recommended either immediate surgery or close conservative observation.
However, after that, my parents did not take me for any further examinations or treatment, nor did they inform me about this condition. Since I had no symptoms and no obvious physical deformity over the following twenty years, I was completely unaware that I had scoliosis.
It was not until 2024, when I began experiencing lower back pain, that I underwent further evaluation and discovered the condition. My current symptoms include difficulty maintaining balance while walking and very severe lower back pain. The degree is nearly 60 .My doctors have told me that surgery is now the only option, but the procedure would require fusion and fixation of my entire lumbar spine.
My questions are:
Should I undergo the surgery?
How long do the implants (screws and rods) typically last? Is there a risk that they could break within a few years?
After surgery, how would I be able to bend down to pick things up from the floor?
Plz recommend some professional doctor to me if possible.
Thank you for any advice or shared experiences.
