Can we get an update on the new missions system?

Howdy u/sunnykeep , we'd appreciate an update on the new missions system. It has been 4 or 5 months since the missions stopped updating, and we are missing it badly. Any update on when we will get back to having new content?

Thanks,

Eric

Slow motion form request

Howdy. I'm looking for a slow motion video of a pro player who

  1. Is throwing backhand
  2. Is taken from the side, perpendicular to throw
  3. Does not have a crow hop (edit: wrong term.. on his xstep both feet leave the ground at the same time and I am looking for models that do not do this)
  4. Similar build to McBeth
  5. Going for a power shot, not necessarily max distance, but not an upshot.

McBeth and I have similar builds, but I am not comfortable with the crow hop like he does. I've been using him as a model for sucking less and it is helping, but I am not quite getting the x-step timing down using this as I don't/can't crowhop. Build is important since my short legs trying to do what the tall guys do is just a recipe for frustration...

Any YouTube links would be appreciated.

Edit: I am using the term crow hop wrong, apologies. I mean he does x-step but both feet are off the ground at the same time in the videos I watch. I am looking for someone who does not do this. Sorry for the confusion.

When did lichess stop banning cheats?

I've been on lichess for well over a decade now and I'd run into a suspected cheat every few days. I'd confirm by going through several of their past games and if they had a streak of zero mistakes/blunders and often no inaccuracies, report, include links to all the relevant games and within 24 hours, would get a notification that they were banned. It was pretty regular... I'd make these reports every couple of months and without failure this would happen. I'd only report when it was at least five consecutive games where it was perfect like this.. if I was only 99% sure, I'd not report because sometimes folks just get lucky.

This past year something has changed as the last three cheaters never got banned. Like the dude I played yesterday made me look like a beginner. I'm 2100-2250 depending on the time control but sometimes I run into something I don't know well and it happens. But this 1600 bullet guy has 12 rapid games total without so much as an inaccuracy. Like Magnus could not do this, yet no ban. He should have been banned by lichess cheat system, and a report should have sealed his fate.

Two other reports this year were similar... streaks of perfection that are beyond explanation and their accounts are open.

Anyone know when and what changed with lichess? Used to be a really good cheat system, now it seems to be crap.

Slightly more stable Innova Corvette

I am trying to find something slightly more stable than the Corvettes I throw. I have recently managed to get my distance up from sub-300 to 375 and the Corvettes throw the most consistent for me. I don't have a big arm, but I can get those guys to glide forever. Problem is I get a moderate headwind and it stays in my bag because it just burns for me which might be a skill issue, but I'd like a recommendation for something that is a little more reliable in the wind.

Thanks!

Edit: I also have a Colossus and I don't see that much of a difference in the flights... maybe slightly more stable...

Help me check my numbers

I'm looking at retiring early next year. Based on my calculations, this seems like a reasonable budget number, honestly more spending money than we usually do now. I'd like the group to look and make sure these numbers look reasonable and I am not overlooking something obvious.

The individual brokerage, I am estimating as 50% of withdrawals are taxable due to 100% appreciation in this non-tax advantaged account. This likely overstates the appreciation as we are still putting money into it today, diluting the appreciation which means even less is taxable, but I like conservative estimates because you never know what tomorrow brings.

IRA withdrawal is based on a conservative SEPP withdrawal rate.

ACA subsidy is based on a 2026 calculator and rounded down.

Anything I am missing here?

Edit: Married filing jointly, kids graduated college have their real jobs. This is intended to cover the six years from now until I have access to all our IRA money without penalty.

Annual Withdrawal IRA 70,000
Annual Withdrawal Individual Brokerage 20,000
Total Withdrawal 90,000
Taxable Income 80,000
ACA Insurance + Health Care Cost 24,000
ACA Subsidy 10,000
Subsidized Annual Medical Cost 14,000
Estimated Federal Tax 5,760
Estimated State Tax 1,484
Total Federal and State Tax 7,244
Annual Budget After Medical and Tax 68,756
Monthly Budget After Medical and Tax 5,730
