More structured settlement quests

was just watching a “5 easy ways to fix the Minutemen” video by Grey Gaming on YouTube and he proposed that Bethesda should have made the radiant quests to help settlements follow a more strategic plan based on developing the Minutemen’s control over the map. Basically, you start in the top left quadrant, then start read out from there. His example was that the first quest from Preston should be to help out Abernathy. That leads you the Olivia Station which is near Ten Pines. So you go do theirs next. Then, instead of being assigned to Oberland or County Crossing, you go secure the Drive In because your goal with the quests is to absorb territory in a way that would make supply routes and communication stronger for the faction. I hope you get the general idea from my summary, but it seemed like a cool idea.

So, since I’ve buried the lead at this point, I’m wondering if anyone knows of any mods that do something like that already. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Similarly, is there one that makes the faction level up as the player does that people feel is particularly good?

Thanks!

HD Retexture Project reviews

Hi all. Sorry if this has been addressed elsewhere. I looked and didn’t see anything specific, but I apologize for wasting time if I missed it. I’m wondering if anyone has tried out FatalIllusion’s HD retexture series and their thoughts on it being worth the space/strain on the system over something like Flacon or Vivid. thanks for any insight!
