I have a Pioneer DX975 5 channel amp. It drives 2 ohms through the subwoofer channel. I bought a subwoofer box from Skar for a 2006 F-150 with two dual voice coil 4 ohms subs that are bridged to 1 ohm at the connector on the box. Should I open the box and run each sub with just a single coil run parallel for a 2 ohm load for the amp? Or should I run both speakers with both coils in series at a 4 ohm load from the amp? I know the speakers together are 1 or 4 ohms. I hope this made sense.
