RESIDENT EVIL VERONICA new Lore

Paying attention to Claire's jacket, you can see a wing that looks similar to Leon's watch in Requiem. I mean, maybe it's a silly theory, but i was thinking about the CV Remake connecting to Resident Evil 10, because MAYBE Chris and Claire will be back as main characters on this future game (RE10)...

SO, what if at the ending of Code: Veronica, we see a epilogue many years later (before RE10, on the RE10 timeline, or even during RE9) of Claire with her husband, who would be Leon?

Or what if Leon makes a short appearance in CV in the same way, as an epilogue, before RE9, with his wedding present (the watch with the wing)?

Or I don't fucking know, BUT WHAT if CV is the way to a Resident Evil 10 'Avengers Assemble' where many characters like Chris, Jill, Leon, and Claire will reunite to finish a major threat that appears in CV and is not killed in CV, like one of the Ashford brothers?

Whatever, that wing looks similar on both the jacket and the watch. I was bored so I wrote this shit lol."

If we want to add fuel to the fire of this theory about the connection between Claire and Leon and the "Avengers Assemble" in RE10, here are some hidden facts and references that could fit:

1- The "Ashford" Factor and the Mutated Virus I mentioned that the biggest threat in RE10 could be one of the Ashford siblings who survived the Remake. This aligns with a huge theory circulating on Reddit: Alexia Ashford never truly died, or her virus (T-Veronica) is still at large. In the lore, the T-Veronica virus allows for memory preservation and mind control if the host spends years in cryogenic stasis. The community is speculating that Capcom wants to revive classic storylines involving older viruses because the last installments (RE7 and RE8) strayed too far from the original with the mold and megamycetes. Bringing back the Ashford threat or a mutation of T-Veronica would, for story reasons, require the original team (Chris, Jill, Leon, and Claire) to return. No new agent would know how to handle that.

The Resident Evil saga has always operated in cycles. After the conclusion of the biological/mystical phase of the Baker and Miranda families (RE7 and RE8), the path is wide open. If Capcom follows the logic of its remakes, the return of the Ashford siblings and the T-Veronica virus isn't just nostalgia; it's the perfect excuse to reintroduce the corporate threats and classic virus designs that fans miss so much. By bringing back a threat that Chris and Claire couldn't completely eradicate in the past, the game organically justifies its starring role in the main plot of RE10, directly connecting with the leaks you mentioned.

2- The Death Island Experiment This is undoubtedly the strongest argument from a commercial standpoint. Capcom doesn't bring all its heavy hitters together in a movie just for the love of it; it does so to gauge the market. Putting Leon, Claire, Chris, and Jill together in one place proved that their dynamics work wonderfully and that audiences go wild when they cooperate. Since the classic characters are now aging in the current timeline (all around 50 years old), the logical next step for Resident Evil 10 (such an iconic and significant number) is to give them the grand finale they deserve with a proper "Avengers Assemble" experience.
