First TDR

Tokyo Disney first timer here. My boyfriend and Iare super fans and this is gonna be our first trip to Japan.

We really wanna try to do at least one of the parks twice but also have a full day for ourselves. I have read through all the guides here, but I still have some questions and things I would need some advice on.

First of all, I’m looking at the VP options and I see the max days for these are three days. Seems like adding an extra night and chaining it to an existing VP is a bit of a hassle and I think we’d rather book hotel separately but… what would I truly be missing out on here??

Seems like the biggest downfall would be not being able to book Premiere Access ahead of our vacation. But how much of a Hunger Games situation is it to get the PA for popular rides early in the morning?

Even if we have Happy Entry, is it still a pain in the butt to try and buy PA in the park?

Also, seems like the consense here is doing two days for DisneySea and 1 for Disneyland. Now; we take Disney seriously. We’re terminal Disney adults lol. Does 2 days for each park sound like overkill?

And, I know this aint like the WDW Disney bubble so having a ‘day at the resort’ might not be as exciting… but what would a chill day at a Disney hotel look like for you? I definitely would eanna try Chef Mickey if we stay at the Ambassador, but what other fun things other than Ikspiari?

I consider myself a WDW veteran but this is all so new, I would love anyone’s input!
