"Need advice before buying a Ford Probe V6 - what is this ticking noise?"

Hi everyone,

I'm considering buying a 1996 Ford Probe 2.5 V6 (KL-DE) with around 216,000 km. The seller sent me a video of the engine running, and I think I can hear a slight knocking/ticking noise.

Could anyone familiar with the KL-DE engine take a listen and tell me if this sounds normal? I'm wondering whether it could be injector noise, lifter tick, a pulley/tensioner, or something more serious.

The car has a valid inspection, mileage history seems consistent, and overall it looks to be in decent condition for its age. I'm mainly concerned about the engine noise before I decide to buy it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
