I F34 confronted my partner M38 (8 months together) for finding him awake texting at around 3 am in bed. He was drunk and had fallen asleep earlier then me, while I wanted to stay up together. He said he was planning a night out with friends and told me to fuck off. When I asked to see the chat, he broke up with me, claiming it was his boundary. I'd show him my phone if the roles were reverted, I have nothing to hide and I find it absolutely normal in a relationship. P.S. Trust has been broken multiple times since the dating phase. He repeatedly hidden things and shields his phone screen multiple time from me. Am I the controlling one? How much can someone really love you if acts like this?
