I know progesterone is often prescribed cyclically, but my doctor prescribed me both estrogel and progesterone ONLY from cycle days 1-12. I finally got some relief from my brain fog and mood issues when I started estrogel and now I'm on my first day without it and worrying that my mood is going to crash during the luteal phase, which is when my peri symptoms are at their worst. Is anyone else on estrogen cyclically and if so, does it help your symptoms despite going off it every two weeks?
