Trying to decide between PU and 3d print

I bought this Sandrone cosplay a while ago on presale. Dokidoki just came out with a new PU version and they are giving me an option to choose between the two. Both wheels can turn, the 3d printed one will be discontinued after the final batch. I'm not sure which to go with

Got these second hand, a bit too short for my legs. Thought about cutting out the skin colored part and just making them thigh-highs and "shorts" like on the character. Any better ideas?
