Mixing vinyl in a club setting

I’ve been mixing vinyl for a couple years I’ve got pretty decent.

I’ve been playing in a local club more recently and have been struggling to get my mixes as locked in as I’d like them to be, the club I’ve been playing at has a pioneer xdj-az controller with two technic 1200s on each side, my main problem coming from mixing on a xone 92 is that I’m used to having one cue activated and turning the mix/master to the right to hear everything in my headphones.

While mixing on the xdj-az controller the only way I could achieve a slightly similar mix was to have both cues on at the same time.

I do play this club quite often and I can keep a party going even if there’s a few hiccups but basically just looking for some advice and tips, I’ve started to understand that mixing vinyl at home is also a lot easier than in a club for me anyway.

Hope this made sense lol

Fyi I made a post about this on another account & can’t remember password to delete old post
