2020 F150 Raptor CarAbc Screen Upgrade
So I just got my CarAbc 12 upgrade screen kit. I ordered the Dark Grey kit for my 2020 Ford F-150 Raptor. The color is slightly off compared to the original but nothing crazy that will drive me nuts. Installation was very straightforward using YouTube videos like @CocoTreks and @Exploringthewildlands for references and tips and tricks. Took me roughly 3 hours taking the trim bezels and screen/APIM off and tackling some laundry to help the wife and then back in to transfer all the stuff that needed to be transferred from the old screen and trim and then installing it back into the truck. I confirmed my radio was on 3.4 ahead of time so when I fired it up it only took 2 attempts at turning it on and off and on again for the screen size to adjust. I didn’t have to unplug or do anything updates. The screen is bright and bold. Responsiveness is only a fraction slower than the aged original screen. I can’t wait to take a road trip and really enjoy the screen size and the giant map. Best part is my wife checked it out and she loved it. So if anything changes about my opinions about this kit I’ll come back and revise this post. Also this is an unpaid “review” CarAbc said I don’t have enough followers to get a free screen.
