Question about school transportation
Hi, guys! Incoming transplant here (bet you're tired of these posts). I have a few questions that I really hope someone with elementary school kids can help me with.
- How do buses work? Do they stop by each kid's house (like back in my days, centuries ago), or do kids congregate at a designated bus stop to be collected all at once? Carder school if it matters.
- Is anyone familiar with Spencer Hill/Hidden Meadow/Hilltop/Pine Shadow trl area? Are there any elementary aged kids in those neighborhoods? Is it a mistake not getting a house in city proper? We're so conflicted. On the one hand, we want some space for gardening and exploring. On the other hand, we don't want them to be without friends nearby to do said exploring.
- Do you know anyone working for the local hospitals? What's it like to work for them (pay, treatment, culture)? I'm a nurse.
- Where is the nearest children's hospital?
Thank you! It's a huge life change and I am honestly freaking out.
