Hi, I’m planning to relocate to Bangor Maine in about 7 months or so. A lot of people have told me that Bangors cost of living is lower than most towns in the New England states must still offers great options for groceries, entertainment, etc. I wanted to ask some locals if that’s true? I have a trip planned to Bangor in about a month to get more of an understanding on what it offers. My main goal is to find a town I can buckle down on my IT career and still be able to save/invest while living single. I’m relocating from Florida but I lived in Minnesota for 22 years (28 now) so I am very familiar with brutality of northern winters. Is what I have been told about Bangor still true when it comes to cost of living? Any tips or recommendations I should know when it comes to renting and locations or anything is very appreciated.

Hi, im looking to continue my education with compTIA and have decided on the CySA+. I was able to pass the Security+ 701 about a year ago. I have been studying for the CCNA but decided to pivot to CySA+ due to it being more aligned with SEC+. I have been looking around Udemy for a course to study from but all I was able to find were 2 004 courses and the rest are 003. I know 004 just came out so I’m assuming that’s why the lack of courses. What course best helped you pass? Also looking for some labs I can work on when I have some free time.

Hi! I’m about to move from Florida to Bangor for the next 8 months for a IT Support contract with a business there. I’ve always wanted to move to Maine so I’m very excited for this experience! I’m wondering how the local IT market is there? Incase I was to stay past my contract. Also, anyone have a good suggestions on a coffee shop?
