Thomas' Legion coat/jacket ID

I found this photo of an officer under the Thomas' Legion Infantry, and was curious whether his coat is a North Carolina sack coat/shell jacket, or if its a standard Confederate shell jacket?

Beauregard's Tailor?

Is Beauregard's Tailor no longer doing reenactment clothes? I went to look at coats, and all their historic clothing is gone. It's just the pins/stickers and stuff now.

Confederate Infantry Corporal

I've thought about putting together a reenactment of my 4th Great Grandfather's uniform for a while, and while I think I've got the general idea of how they dressed, I just wanna get a broader opinion from a more educated audience in case his state or local uniform differed from the norm. He was 3rd Corporal of Company C, 69th North Carolina Infantry (better known as Thomas' Legion) from January 1862 to around October 1863.
