There is this girl that I spend time with and gone on something like a date but nothing happened romantically. ( were both 17 and in the same class) I am sure that she likes me back but we never confessed or anything. Someone told me that she had a boyfriend which she never told me about. I want to know if that is true, how should I ask her about it? If I am too direct It would pretty much be a confession that I am serious about her. And I think if she is not ready for that kind of talk it could scare her off.

So we are both 17 and she made it kinda clear that she likes me. She is the one that leads the relationship and I’ve made my interest clear too. ( none of us confessed but she most likely knows) We went on something like a date, we played pool and it went nicely but nothing happened romantically. Since we are classmates how should I go about progressing the relationship? I don’t want to make it weird or scaring her away by being too pushy. The first kiss seems scary right now and I’m worried about messing it up
