Pmdd based hatred for the opposite gender

Does anyone have the same feeling of hating men while on luteal phase? I am genuinely a bit scared of getting radicalised, and am planning to take a long break from social media.

I feel rage and want to smash the patriarchy.  My new amazing bf has nothing to do with my rage around the "topic" and I have 0 interest in projecting any of this onto him. my relationship history is pretty depressing but that isn't his fault. He is so fun and intelligent and treats me well. and condemns misogyny. so far so good ❣️

But this isn't really about my own trauma.. (?). rather that I have been reading about first the Epstein files then Cornell7  .. The way so many men enable each other's f*ckery makes me nauseous? Even on more micro level... idk, it just feels like not too many women around me are with men who would participate in their family life or even treat them with a lot of respect. Seems like the bar is very low. my fear is to end up in such a situation over time too :(

And when I think about this rationally then no, I do not hate men closest around me, at work, around my family and so on. But I have become more aggressive about my manhatred on social media and even tough the rage isn't directed to those closest to me, I know they do be seeing what I am liking & commenting online, and I am giving increasingly few f*cks about it, so I am assuming they may not have much respect left for me 😅

I also keep thinking I'd better stop being this hateful because my bf will see it and even though he would understand it's not about him, it's probably true it would be intelligent to do something else with my time. But god forbid a girl in a relationship feels fury about injustices. I'm just tired. My PMDD makes this such an exhausting cycle. Why me? Why am I forced to carry all this sh*t on my shoulders when nobody around me seems to be as angry? Why can't I just decentre men and stay nonchalant like so many people – regardless of gender – do about injustices. Prozac really helps this "symptom" but not enough.:,)

Iron infusion triggered AA

Yep, so I had a big dose of iron at once a month ago. The maximum amount you can have. I was thrilled because I only had fatigue after. Did not realise right away that actually the bald spot I saw in my head literally the same evening was not the "rock bottom" I had reached due to iron deficiency but instead a reaction to the infusion. Fast forward six weeks I have probably lost 30% of my long, thick hair and have two bald spots increasing in size. I have a dr's appointment the day after tomorrow.

I am new to this group and could only find one such experience and sent a DM to the OP. But I am distressed and hope to hear more experiences if this is something that has happened to you. I so hope this can be reversed :(

A bald spot, dark circles around eyes, apathy.. all this AFTER iron infusion?

A bald spot near my parting appeared literally on the day or maybe a day after the iron infusion I had a month ago. It also triggered eczema under my eyes and I still have mild allergy wrinkles (I do have eczema but it hasnt been acting out in a long time). I have been feeling apathetic too, but it seems to be fading a bit. The dark under my eyes is new, didnt have that before infusion.

I do sleep super well and seem to have more energy to do stuff even after work.

But... honestly the hair thing is what scares me the most. What if it is permanent? I was already losing some hair as my ferritin touched 20 before the infusion. But not from the same spot so that it is super visible :,(

8 days post infusion, feeling DRAINED

Hi, just looking for some reassurance. My infusion (1000mg) was the first I have ever had. I have had my ferritin levels at 20-40 for 4 years. In 2021, I managed to get my ferritin to 80 with supplements, but it took over a year and my stomach wasn't doing great with the supplement. It never has. And before 2021, I always had ferritin below 40 too. Hemoglobin has been within range but on the low side.

I was always depressed when my ferritin was below 35. Esp now that it touched 20 this spring.

So I had no complications during or after the infusion. Some back and joint pains here and there. But I feel absolutely tired and withdrawn, super unmotivated and uninspired for a long time now. I am not sure if it was this bad a year ago. Prob not, the ferritin was 40 and I was laser focused on my thesis and was able to go to the gym. Felt determined to survive my tasks.

But now I was unemployed for 8 months. Starting a temp work next week. I like my field and should be excited but it feels like I wasn't even unemployed because I am so tired I may as well have worked to the point of burnout, I feel no difference 😅 I am currently traveling with my family and my father said I seem quiet and withdrawn like I have for the whole spring and I was like yeah well that is exactly why I got the infusion, because I have been feeling just so drained and depressed.

But I am scared the infusion doesn't change anything and that maybe I have just lost my will to live and this is my character now 😅 this is even when I am well aware I was also this depressed before each time my ferritin was aa low as this spring. and I did feel much better when my ferritin was 80 or even just 50, tbh..

I also have ADHD and PMDD and the symptoms are so much worse when my ferritin is down :(

I hope the infusion starts helping soon. i am just so tired of not caring about and not wanting to do anything. all I have observed for now is some color returning to my face.
