Jesus fits the definition of a false prophet from Deuteronomy 13 because his teachings on the Sabbath and the dietary rules led people away from Law observance, even speaking against the foundations of those rules (e.g. cannot be defiled by food, Sabbath made for man), while he appealed to mighty works and claimed to be unknown as well as the Father. God had been known, seen, and heard from by His people. Even others heard and knew of Him and were clearly affected by Him.

As well, Jesus significantly weakens people by telling them Satan cannot cast out Satan, which is illogical, since it's entirely possible he could have them intentionally leave without being destroyed in order to bolster the reputation of a false teacher, and the gained reputation would outweigh the loss of some number of possessed people, in addition to making more widespread possession easier through a reduced guard. Not only that, but someone freed from possession might fall to a larger number of demons later, per Jesus' own words. He also contradicts the idea of exorcism as a sign to believe in when it comes to others and not him, yet it's shown exorcism requires actual faith to be done.

Jesus fails the Messianic criteria because Hebrews declares the Aaronic priesthood obsolete in favor of a Melchizedekian order, which contradicts Old Testament promises that the Aaronic line would endure forever, and that Levi would never lack a man to offer sacrifices. Hebrews acknowledges the issue of Jesus not being a descendant of Aaron but claims it isn't an issue by using an illogical excuse, ignoring what's written and required.

Because Deuteronomy warns against adding or subtracting from the Law, and Jeremiah mentions the "lying pen of the scribes", the writings themselves show they're able to be corrupted and have been. This is already clear from various numerical errors and issues like Elihu being ignored in Job.

As the writings are able to be corrupted at all, they're unreliable. A person is left to pick and choose what's true or not with no way of knowing what's correct, if any of it, and even those who believe there is a way to know (e.g. sincerely asking God) seem to disagree with each other, as there are many denominations. Therefore, they are no more knowledgeable about God's existence, character and desires than those who haven't read the writings.

Since writings as ancient as Job and other writings less so, such as Jeremiah, have significant sections that are uncertain, and the originals are unknown, the extent of potential corruption, especially in the earlier writings, goes beyond less significant issues, such as the numerical errors, and into larger issues, such as information about God. Even when multiple versions of texts exist, it cannot necessarily be known which is original (if any) for each, what was or wasn't changed, and so on. From there then, it relies on God, if existent, yet ultimately, given the differences in what believers consider true, it relies on human opinion and likely preference, which does nothing for truth and unity. Tradition isn't very helpful either, as it clearly changes over time, and even the early church members didn't agree.

The early chapters of Genesis contain factual errors, such as ignoring the presence of large, landlocked lakes and calling our non-light-emitting moon a "light". Dismissing those errors as "poetry" is disingenuous because the text presents itself as a straightforward, detailed, chronological writing (showing intention to reveal the process, not just such an event) with high-stakes matters (the creation of the Earth and Heavens, the Fall, the Abrahamic Covenant, the Mosaic Covenant and Law), and God cannot lie.

If accepting that Moses wrote the majority of the Law, then it wouldn't make much sense to write a fictional or to some degree inaccurate creation text, only to then show that the Sabbath laws which are punished by death hold value because of that story. Other writers and such throughout the Bible also seem to never consider the Law to not be straightforward.

The age of the Earth and evolution also conflict, but those are perhaps uncertain, yet the former has more suggesting or showing it, and the idea that a day isn't just a day or a thousand years but an unknown, longer time or an indefinite time seems unreasonable.

4: Jesus fits the definition of a false prophet from Deuteronomy 13 because his teachings on the Sabbath and the dietary rules led people away from Law observance, even speaking against the foundations of those rules (e.g. cannot be defiled by food, Sabbath made for man), while he appealed to mighty works and claimed to be unknown as well as the Father. God had been known, seen, and heard from by His people. Even others heard and knew of Him and were clearly affected by Him.

As well, Jesus significantly weakens people by telling them Satan cannot cast out Satan, which is illogical, since it's entirely possible he could have them intentionally leave without being destroyed in order to bolster the reputation of a false teacher, and the gained reputation would outweigh the loss of some number of possessed people, in addition to making more widespread possession easier through a reduced guard. Not only that, but someone freed from possession might fall to a larger number of demons later, per Jesus' own words. He also contradicts the idea of exorcism as a sign to believe in when it comes to others and not him, yet it's shown exorcism requires actual faith to be done.

1: The early chapters of Genesis contain factual errors, such as ignoring the presence of large, landlocked lakes and calling our non-light-emitting moon a "light". Dismissing those errors as "poetry" is disingenuous because the text presents itself as a straightforward, detailed, chronological writing (showing intention to reveal the process, not just such an event) with high-stakes matters (the creation of the Earth and Heavens, the Fall, the Abrahamic Covenant, the Mosaic Covenant and Law), and God cannot lie.

If accepting that Moses wrote the majority of the Law, then it wouldn't make much sense to write a fictional or to some degree inaccurate creation text, only to then show that the Sabbath laws which are punished by death hold value because of that story. Other writers and such throughout the Bible also seem to never consider the Law to not be straightforward.

The age of the Earth and evolution also conflict, but those are perhaps uncertain, yet the former has more suggesting or showing it, and the idea that a day isn't just a day or a thousand years but an unknown, longer time or an indefinite time seems unreasonable.

2: Because Deuteronomy warns against adding or subtracting from the Law, and Jeremiah mentions the "lying pen of the scribes", the writings themselves show they're able to be corrupted and have been. This is already clear from various numerical errors and issues like Elihu being ignored in Job.

As the writings are able to be corrupted at all, they're unreliable. A person is left to pick and choose what's true or not with no way of knowing what's correct if, any of it, and even those who believe there is a way to know (e.g. sincerely asking God) seem to disagree with each other, as there are many denominations. Therefore, they are no more knowledgeable about God's existence, character and desires than those who haven't read the writings.

Since writings as ancient as Job and other writings less so, such as Jeremiah, have significant sections that are uncertain, and the originals are unknown, the extent of potential corruption, especially in the earlier writings, goes beyond less significant issues, such as the numerical errors, and into larger issues, such as information about God. Even when multiple versions of texts exist, it cannot necessarily be known which is original (if any) for each, what was or wasn't changed, and so on. From there then, it relies on God, if existent, yet ultimately, given the differences in what believers consider true, it relies on human opinion and likely preference, which does nothing for truth and unity. Tradition isn't very helpful either, as it clearly changes over time, and even the early church members didn't agree.

3: Jesus fails the Messianic criteria because Hebrews declares the Aaronic priesthood obsolete in favor of a Melchizedekian order, which contradicts Old Testament promises that the Aaronic line would endure forever, and that Levi would never lack a man to offer sacrifices. Hebrews acknowledges the issue of Jesus not being a descendant of Aaron but claims it isn't an issue by using an illogical excuse, ignoring what's written and required.
