I bought this Joe Medwick at a card show several years ago. I was going to try to collect the set but I abandoned the project. I’ve since forgotten any conversation I had with the dealer. From the Beckett Vintage Almanac this appears to be a 1937 Dixie Lid Small (and not a “premium”). The lid came in a top loader with a thin piece of waxy paper cut to the exact size of the lid. See photos. I’m uncertain if this was just a piece of paper the dealer created to protect the lid back (from sticking to the penny sleeve, etc.). Or is it something that originally came as part of the ice cream cup and therefore adds historical value? Thanks for your help in advance!

I inherited a bunch of 1950-60s cards from my uncle. This front surface of this 1956 Topps Jackie Robinson has a white squiggly line (for lack of a better descriptor) to the right of the image of Jackie sliding. Does anyone know if this is a commonly known defect for the 1956 set (or cards of this era in general)? Thank you to anyone that can share their knowledge!
