Anyone know of any jazz clubs in the suburbs? I'm looking for a chill place that doesn't allow smoking and plays live jazz also potentially even a saxophone instructor. I've been playing alto sax for a few years (self taught) but looking for some professional tips. Thanks in advance.

The Vernon Hills location is being remodeled, but to me it feels more like a generic gray modern design. I kind of miss the character the old gym had. Does anyone else agree with my opinion? Or do you prefer the new look?
I've traveled around the U.S. and recently came back from a trip to Miami. I feel like we don't give Chicago enough credit for its cleanliness. I guess it makes sense because we keep garbage in the alleys. Obviously every city has cleaner and rougher areas, but overall I'm impressed by Chicago. Anyone else notice that?

Anyone else surprised you now have to pay for parking at Rosemont mall? That was the go to mall I grew up going to. It makes me less likely to go now. What was the reason? Am I missing something?
