Ditching natural blends for bio-based Knits?

I (36/F) am currently at the tail-end of packing for a week-long trip where I'll be going straight from a long-haul flight into walking around the city.

For my last few trips, I packed mostly cotton tees because they are supposed to be more breathable. But damn, do they wrinkle easily. This time I am going to Italy for a week, and from my previous experience, they don’t always offer iron at the hotel. At least not at the ones that I used to stay at.

I really want to switch over to more synthetic based (specifically modal, viscose, or lyocell blends). I have one knit top that I’ve been testing for transit days; it naturally drops wrinkles, and it looks presentable enough. And my merino wool tee, that’s a tee that I swear by.

I’m tempted to swap my all natural tops for these heavier bio-based stretch knits, but my main concern is sink-washing. Has anyone successfully one-bagged with thick modal/viscose knits? How long does it take for them to air dry?

By the way this is my packing list thus far, I'd love feedback on the fabric choices before I leave!

Tops (4):

  • 1x United Arrow Merino wool tee (for active days)
  • 1x OGL stretch-knit modal top (for the flight + dinner)
  • 1x Oversized linen button-down (for layering/sun protection)
  • 1x Silk cami

Bottoms (3):

  • 1x Lightweight wide-leg trousers (cupro blend)
  • 1x Linen blend shorts
  • 1x Slip midi skirt

Shoes (2):

  • 1x White walking sneakers
  • 1x Comfortable walking sandals

Layer (1):

  • 1x Lightweight merino cardigan

What are people actually using for joint and muscle recovery support these days?

I’ve been training consistently for a while now, mostly strength training with some cardio, and starting to feel like recovery matters just as much as the workouts themselves..lately been seeing a lot of different recovery tools being talked about like red light therapy panels, infrared devices, compression tools, massage guns, and similar stuff..curious what people here actually use if anything that has actually helped with post-workout soreness, joint stiffness especially in knees and shoulders, recovery between training days, and just generally feeling less beat up after lifting. not looking for anything extreme or medical, just something that actually helps you stay consistent without feeling constantly sore or tight. Has anyone here actually found something that made a noticeable difference long term or is it mostly hype? Hehe

Year into my max plan and fable 5 got pulled in one evening, now it's leading a chart i can't use it on

This benchmark came out yesterday and I've been staring at it. The model at the top of the chart is the same one that got pulled from my account friday evening. one goverment letter at 5pm and by night fable 5 was gone for everyone globally. anthropic was forced to comply so this isn't on them.

Saturday morning zai dropped glm-5.2 with MIT license, open sourcing next week. Their post said "the future of AI is open, and it belongs to the people." not subtle.

Then this chart. kingbench so take it w/ salt obviously, but glm-5.2 right under opus 4.8 sits weird when the open source one is downloadable next week and the chart leader is locked.

been on claude since 3.5 sonnet, on max plan now. glm doesnt replace claude for what I do day to day, that part hasnt changed. what changed is i was treating access like a utility i pay for and turns out it's more like a permission slip.

used to roll my eyes at the open source argument. harder to roll my eyes when the model I'm paying for vanished in 4 hours because of an export letter.

Anyone actually stick with a face exfoliator scrubber with replaceable heads or is silicone still enough?

I’ve been using a simple silicone face scrubber for daily cleansing mainly for sunscreen, sweat, and light buildup and it’s been working fine so far.

But I keep seeing face exfoliator scrubbers with replaceable heads and I’m wondering if anyone here has actually used them long term and actually preferred them over silicone or if it ends up feeling like the same thing after a while.

I’m trying to figure out if there’s any real reason to switch or if silicone is already the most practical option.
