【Ethan】VS 36mm Datejust V2 — Six Dials, Which One Would You Pick? 👀

【Ethan】VS 36mm Datejust V2 — Six Dials, Which One Would You Pick? 👀

Six different dial options from the VS 36mm Datejust V2 lineup.

Green, blue, black, silver, Wimbledon and mint green — it’s interesting how much the personality of the same 36mm Datejust changes with the dial.

Some are more classic and understated, while others stand out immediately on the wrist.

If you could choose only ONE from these six, which one are you taking?

For me, the hardest choice might be between blue and mint green. 👀

【Ethan】BMS Patek Philippe Classic Ladies✨ Elegant Dial & Strap Options

Hi everyone, Ethan here 👋

Today I wanted to share something a little different from the usual sports watch lineup — the new BMS Patek Philippe Classic Ladies Collection.

This series focuses more on elegance, color matching, and daily wearability rather than a heavy sports style.

【EthanMod】Grey Meteorite Bruce Wayne GMT 🌌 Subtle or Too Much?

Hi everyone, Ethan here 👋

Today I wanted to share a close-up of a Grey/Black GMT build fitted with a grey meteorite dial.

I’ve always felt the Bruce Wayne bezel is one of the most understated GMT configurations, but once paired with a meteorite dial, the whole watch becomes much more interesting.

The grey/black bezel keeps the overall look clean and low-key, while the meteorite texture adds a lot of depth to the dial.

Under close-up lighting, the dial doesn’t look flat at all. The natural meteorite-style pattern changes depending on the angle, sometimes looking darker and more subtle, and sometimes showing much stronger texture.

Would you choose a standard black dial GMT,

or go with a grey meteorite dial like this?

【Ethan】VS Two-Tone Zombie GMT Wrist Shot 🖤💛 What Do You Think?

Hi everyone, Ethan here 👋

Today I wanted to share a quick wrist shot of the VS Two-Tone Zombie GMT.

This is one of those GMT configurations that looks very different once it’s on the wrist. Compared with Pepsi, Batman, or Sprite, the two-tone black and gold design gives it a warmer and more luxurious feeling.

Under natural light, the black ceramic bezel, gold-tone numerals, glossy black dial, and Jubilee bracelet create a very strong contrast.

What I like most about this piece is that it still keeps the sporty GMT look, but the two-tone details make it feel more refined and a little more dressy.

【EthanMod】Free Silence Upgrade Event 🔧 Which Mod Would You Choose First?

Hi everyone, Ethan here 👋

Over the past few months, EthanMod has been focused on one thing—making already great watches even better through subtle, practical modifications.

Some collectors prefer to keep everything factory-original, while others enjoy improving the little details that make a watch feel more refined in daily wear.

【Ethan】Has OCTA Become One Of The Most Interesting AP Factories After APS? 👀

Hi everyone, Ethan here 👋

Lately, I've noticed more and more discussions around AP factories after APS disappeared from the market.

For a while, APS was almost the default choice for many people, but recently the conversation has started shifting.

Today I put a few OCTA pieces together under natural light.

📸 Current lineup:

• 15407 Skeleton (Grey)

• 15510 Blue Dial

• 15407 Skeleton (Rose Gold)

What I find interesting is that OCTA seems to be focusing heavily on case finishing, dial texture, and overall balance instead of trying to flood the market with dozens of references.

Under natural light, the brushed surfaces and sharp edges actually look pretty impressive.

Personally, I think AP competition hasbecome much more interesting lately.

After APS, whats factory do you think will become the new favorite for AP enthusiasts

【Ethan】Yacht-Master 42 Titanium Comparison – VF vs ARF vs CleanPlus vs VS

Hi everyone, Ethan here 👋

Continuing my weekly comparison series, this week I'm revisiting one of my favorite underrated models: the Yacht-Master 42 Titanium (Ref. 226627).

A lot has changed recently.

VF is no longer around, VSF has entered the market, and there are now several strong options available.

I thought it would be interesting to put some of the more popular versions side by side again so everyone can get a clearer picture.

For reference, the gen Yacht-Master 42 Titanium comes in at:

• 42mm case size

• Around 11.6mm thickness

• Rolex Cal.3235 movement

【Ethan】VSF Titanium Yacht-Master 🛥️ First Time With A Free-Sprung Movement? Quick Stock Check

Hi everyone, Ethan here 👋

Doing a quick stock check on the VSF Titanium Yacht-Master today.

I currently have a small batch available, so I thought I'd share some natural light photos.

One of the biggest talking points this release is that VSF is now using a free-sprung movement setup for the Titanium Yacht-Master for the first time.

Under natural light, the titanium case really stands out. The darker grey tone, brushed finishing, and lightweight feel give it a very different personality compared to traditional stainless steel sports models.

A few things I really like about this configuration:

✨ Lightweight titanium construction

✨ New free-sprung movement setup

✨ Excellent brushed finishing

✨ Comfortable for all-day wear

✨ Clean and understated design

📦 Small quantity currently available.

【Ethan】GMT Grey Meteorite Dial 🌌 One Of The Best GMT Combinations Right Now?

Hi everyone, Ethan here

I've always felt that meteorite dials work especially well with darker bezel combinations, and the grey/black GMT is probably one of the cleanest pairings.

The texture changes dramatically depending on the angle and lighting. Sometimes it looks silver-grey, while other times the meteorite pattern becomes much more noticeable.

This setup also keeps a relatively understated appearance compared to brighter color combinations.

【Ethan】THB 15407 V3 Free-Sprung Balance Under Natural Light ⚙️ Would You Choose Frosted, Rainbow Or Full Black?

Hi everyone, Ethan here 👋

Spent some time photographing several THB 15407 pieces under natural light today.

I've always felt the 15407 is one of those watches that reveals more details the longer you look at it.

The openworked dial, exposed balance wheel, and layered movement architecture give it a completely different feel from a traditional sports watch.

【Ethan】Royal Oak 15510 Blue Dial Comparison – TOP vs ZF vs DDF vs VSF

Hi everyone, Ethan here 👋

Continuing my weekly comparison series, this week I’m taking a look at the AP Royal Oak 15510 blue dial.

After APS disappeared from the market, I’ve noticed a lot more people asking the same question:

Which factory should we be looking at now for the 15510?

That’s actually the main reason I decided to make this comparison.

I thought it would be interesting to put some of the other well-known factories side by side, so everyone can get a clearer picture of how they compare.

For reference, the gen Royal Oak 15510ST comes in at:

• 41mm case size

• Around 10.5mm thickness

• AP Calibre 4302 movement

The versions here are:

• TOP – 4302 movement

• ZF – 4302 movement

• DDF – 4302 movement

• VSF – 4302 movement

From what I've seen so far, each version seems to focus on slightly different strengths.

TOP

TOP has been getting a lot of attention recently.

Many collectors seem to like its overall visual balance, and the dial texture looks quite impressive under direct lighting.

ZF

ZF has been around in the Royal Oak space for quite a while.

Its overall finishing remains one of the reasons many collectors continue to consider it.

DDF

DDF has become increasingly competitive recently.

The watch overall looks quite clean, and the integrated bracelet flow looks pretty good.

VSF

VSF is one of the newer names entering the Royal Oak category, and many people are curious to see how it compares.

Its overall finishing and dial presentation are interesting to look at side by side.

【Ethan】Explorer II Polar Dial Comparison – ARF vs QF (Shanghai 3285)

Hi everyone, Ethan here 👋

Continuing my weekly comparison series, this time I’m taking a look at the Explorer II Polar Dial (Ref. 226570).

The Explorer II has always been a bit of an underrated Rolex sports model. While it doesn't get as much attention as the Submariner or GMT-Master II, a lot of collectors appreciate its clean white dial, fixed 24-hour bezel, and unique tool-watch character.

For reference, the gen Explorer II 226570 comes in at:

• 42mm case size

• Rolex Cal. 3285 movement

The versions here are:

ARF – Shanghai 3285

QF – Shanghai 3285

From what I’ve seen so far, both versions are actually quite competitive, especially considering they are using the same movement platform.

ARF

ARF continues to stand out for its overall finishing.

The bracelet feels solid, the clasp quality looks good, and the overall watch has a clean and refined appearance.

The case and bracelet integration also looks very well balanced.

QF

QF has been getting more attention recently, and overall the watch looks quite competitive side by side.

The dial, hands, and overall visual presentation are all pretty solid, and the watch gives a very clean wrist presence.

Of course, these are just my personal observations. If I missed something or got anything wrong, feel free to correct me.

【Ethan】RICH Factory V2 GMT & Submariner Series 🔥 Major Upgrade Release

Hi everyone, Ethan here 👋

RICH Factory has officially released the upgraded V2 GMT-Master II and Submariner series.

This update focuses on several of the details enthusiasts pay the most attention

After comparing the new V2 pieces side by side with earlier versions, the most noticeable improvements are the dial appearance and crystal performance under different lighting conditions.

The dial printing looks cleaner, while the crystal gives a more transparent and open appearance, making the watch feel more refined on the wrist.

【EthanMod】VSF Datejust Chamfering & Polishing 🔥 Limited 1-Week

Hi everyone, Ethan here 👋

One of the most common discussions around VSF Datejust models is that while the crystal clarity, dial details, and movement performance are excellent, the bracelet and case finishing can still be improved with additional hand-finishing work.

Recently, I've been working on a series of VSF Datejust chamfering and polishing projects, and the difference is surprisingly noticeable once completed.

After chamfering and polishing, the watch feels smoother on the wrist, while the case gains more definition and a more refined appearance under natural light.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

🔧 Project Highlights

• Case chamfering and edge refinement

• Full polishing and finishing work

• Improved bracelet comfort

• Smoother wrist feel

• Enhanced visual depth and case definition

• More refined appearance under different lighting conditions
