How often were you able to interact with senior staff? Like the legislative directors, comms directors, and chief of staff? I’m starting my internship in a few weeks and am curious how often I’ll be able to interact with them.
None of my profs graded my finals on canvas but my grades are on my transcript. Have final grades come out?
Hello everyone. I landed an internship with a congressman who appears in the news A LOT. And, as a result, his office gets a lot of phone calls, from both people who hate him and people who love him. But, I was wondering how you’re supposed to go about answering these phone calls. If someone asks a question about his stance on a policy or a bill he’s sponsoring am I supposed to answer it? What questions can I typically answer and what questions can I not? What are typical topics people call about? I’m trying to prepare as much as possible for my first day before I arrive so any insight would be very much appreciated.
